Condition Guide
Not sure what our condition labels mean?
Here's a quick guide to how we rate each item.
Please note that condition can be subjective — what we consider EUC may be seen as GUC by someone else, and vice versa. Different resellers and platforms may also use slightly different standards. The below reflects how we personally assess our items.
Important Notes
- Items with names or initials on internal tags (such as care labels or neck tags that can be removed) are not considered a fault, as they are not visible when worn.
- Items with names written, stamped, or stuck directly onto the fabric (and cannot be removed) are considered a fault, and pricing will reflect this.
Condition Ratings
BNWT (Brand New With Tags)
Brand new, never worn, with original tags attached.
BNWOT (Brand New Without Tags)
Brand new, never worn, tags have been removed.
Like New
Worn once or twice at most. Presents almost as new with little to no visible wear.
EUC (Excellent Used Condition)
In excellent condition with minimal signs of wear. No major flaws.
VGUC (Very Good Used Condition)
Still in great condition, with some light signs of wear such as minor fading, small marks, or slight imperfections. Any flaws will be noted.
GUC (Good Used Condition)
Shows clear signs of wear but still has plenty of life left. May include fading, marks, or small flaws — all outlined in the description.
Play Condition
Heavily worn with noticeable marks, fading, or small holes. Still perfectly wearable and ideal for play or daycare.
Signs of Wear May Include:
- Light or small marks
- Minor holes
- Loose or slightly undone stitching
- Fabric pilling (brushing)
- Wash or sun fading
All items are pre-loved, so unless listed as BNWT or BNWOT, some level of wear is expected.
Any significant flaws will always be clearly mentioned and shown in photos where possible.
